Taking the BS out of Marketing
I didn't always work with Tree Companies to improve their bottom line. In fact, this is my second business. My first business was in personal training. Like many of the tree guys I now work with - I too was promised the world by a slick willy marketer. $10K later I had a small handful of clients and a trailer full of excuses. Losing that kind of money hurt my business, strained the relationship with my wife (she was pregnant with our first) and frustrated me to no end.
I doubled down and bought into a Marketing Mastermind Group. I implemented everything I learned into my business. Sure, I had my tumbles, but as once I got the system dialed in... I realized how important good marketing to the quality of my life. (happy wife, happy life right?) I hired 4 more trainers, filled their books and moved myself towards the manager role.

One day, a guy named Bill walked into my office needing to lose weight. He was a big man with hands like a bear. I thought I had a firm grip... What the hell do you do? He told me he had a local Tree Service.
One thing led to another and I started helping him market his tree service.

Long story short - I sold my personal training business to one of my trainers. It's been years and to this day I still send Bill over 3-5 calls on a daily basis. Nowadays he spends his days at his house on the lake, an optimus prime looking truck in his driveway and 100 pounds lighter.
Nowadays my I spend my time helping Tree Companies grow their bottom line.
